Harnessing your body’s natural ability to heal itself

PRP, also known as liquid gold, has many healing and rejuvenating benefits by virtue of the rich growth factors it contains. PRP treatment has become in high demand in the natural medical aesthetics world for its efficacy. PRP is used in the repair of joints and connective tissues like ligaments and tendons, for regrowing hair and to rejuvenate your face. PRP injections triggers the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, resulting in healthier and younger looking refreshed skin.
What is a PRP Treatment?
PRP (“liquid gold”) is isolated from your own blood and used for its incredible healing properties. Your blood is drawn, centrifuged to pack the blood into 3 layers, the plasma, the white blood cells “buffy coat” and the red blood cells. The highest concentration of platelets are in the plasma just next to the buffy coat so we use a technique to extract just the highest concentration from your plasma. Et voila liquid gold is isolated for use.
PRP Facial Injections
PRP (platelet-rich-plasma) injections are performed similarly to dermal filler injections. Injections for the face are placed deep in the dermis and can be used to target specific areas of the face to provide facial rejuvenation, stimulating collagen production and creating a more youthful appearance.
PRP can work wonders on skin. The growth factors, platelets and mesenchymal stem cells in PRP all help repair the tissues in the treatment area, leading to a smooth, rejuvenated appearance. Research has shown that PRP is a safe and effective treatment. One study found that patients who were treated with PRP, three times at monthly intervals experienced an increase in skin volume and elasticity.
When will I see results from my PRP Treatment?
Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks to months. Results continue to improve over months as collagen production continues.
How many PRP treatments will I need?
Most patients will need 3-5 treatments spaced 4-8 weeks apart.
Tune up PRP treatments are recommended once a year.
